TOUR INFORMATION

Information For Home Tour Attendees

Please follow these tour do's and don'ts:

​

Come to ______ from __ a.m. to __ p.m. to pick up your Tour Booklet.  

​

Tour hours are __ a.m. to __ p.m..  Last entry to the tour houses will be __ p.m..

 

The tour will go forward rain or shine.  Please leave wet umbrellas outside.   

​

Your tour booklet will serve as your admission ticket to each house on the tour, and will be marked when you enter the house.  Each tour-goer should carry their own booklet.  Tour booklets are not transferable.

​

To avoid over-crowding, a limited number of tour-goers will be allowed at one time to each house.   You may have to wait briefly to enter each house.

​

Designated rooms in each house are open for the tour.  Signs and closed doors will indicate rooms that are off-limits.

​

To protect floors and carpets: high heels, bicycle cleats and bare feet are not permitted.  Tour-goers must wear the provided disposable shoe covers, or walk around in their socks.  

​

Photography is at the discretion of each homeowner.  Please check instructions at each house.

​

No smoking, drinking or eating in any of the tour houses, or their driveways or yards.

​

No children under twelve are permitted on the tour, except babes in arms.  Older children must have a ticket and be supervised.

​

Do not open drawers, cabinets or closets.  Do not touch artwork or personal items, or move furniture.  Please treat our tour houses and their contents carefully.

​

No pets allowed.  Bona fide guide and assistance dogs are permitted.

​

Porta-potties will be available for tour-goers, see tour map for locations.  Restrooms in the tour houses will not be open to use. 

​

You will best experience the curving, tree shaded streets of this Olmsted designed neighborhood by walking between tour houses.  If driving, be alert for pedestrians and observe the 20 mph speed limit.

​

If public health concerns dictate cancellation of the tour, tickets will be refunded.

​
